Salucity is a platform that connects health professionals with patients. Currently, we have two specialized platforms in physiotherapy and psychology. Tell us about yourself?
My name is Elena Jurado. I studied physiotherapy at the Complutense University of Madrid, finishing my degree with a 9.8 in my final degree project. Since then, I have created a home physiotherapy company, where I realized the need to bring health closer to patients and provide a tool that helps both professionals (improving their visibility, helping them manage their agendas, fighting against intrusion professional), as well as patients (giving them the assurance that all professionals are certified and registered, protecting their privacy, etc.).
What is the inspiration behind your business?
The new reality that we live after the Covid-19 pandemic has made society begin to worry and take more care of its health. Added to this is the real need for healthcare professionals when they start to work on their own, to have visibility and support that improves the way they work. All of this makes Salucity a perfect union between professionals and patients.
What is your magic sauce?
Right now, there is no platform that is so specialized and that allows you to make purchases online. Furthermore, at Salucity the profile of healthcare professionals is fully validated, as we fight against professional intrusion to improve the quality of healthcare and protect both patients and professionals.
Where do you see your company going in 5 years time?
Our idea is to make Salucity a meeting community between professionals and patients on a global level. Where professionals can connect with each other, find interesting articles, courses, etc. And patients can find advice on their health, as well as reserve the services of the best professionals.
What has been your biggest setback so far?
So far, we have tested Salucity with more than 500 healthcare professionals, obtaining a very high degree of satisfaction.
What is the next big challenge for your business?
Our next challenge is to reach the end user (the patients) and that the degree of satisfaction with the platform is the same as that of the professionals.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
We would love to collaborate with healthcare product brands as well as healthcare companies.
