Tell us about yourself?

My background is in business administration and economics, specialised in international business. Since university years I’ve been working internationally, spending months in best startup ecosystems such as Silicon Valley and Toronto, due to my internships and part-time works besides studies.

I’ve noticed a need for a smart locker solution, first for a storage needs in urban areas, but the idea quickly evolved into the software-focused smart locker solution, that besides being very multifunctional, fits best in high-demanding logistic and ecommerce industry.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

The inspiration for the initial business idea was the lack of convenient places to store your objects in public areas. This was related to public beaches, city center, airports, festivals, but the market demand lead us to solve the bigger problem, that is becoming more and more problematic and this is a lack of convenient delivery places.

With couriers and logistic companies increasing CO2 emissions for all necessary deliveries, and the customers having restricted options to receive their items elsewhere than at home, smart locker was a great-modern solution for nowadays lifestyle.

What is your magic sauce?

We differentiate from others in our software capabilities. While the industry is providing hw-oriented solutions, we are focusing on multi-functionality of software and it’s high adaptability.

Where do you see your company going in 5 years time?

In 5 years, Bloq.it will become the leading smart locker software brand with world-wide presence.

What has been your biggest setback so far?

Our biggest setback so far happened shortly after our start due to delayed production development that has change our timeline completely. With this situation we learned a lot and it happened to be a healthy experience for our team.

What is the next big challenge for your business?

The next big challenge consist of synchronised growth of the team, while getting the production ready for continues big orders.
