Tell us about yourself?

Robi is a graduate engineer in computer science and information technologies, the founder and manager of the young creative digital agency Foreach Labs.

He built his career and entrepreneurial path in many IT companies, most recently he was the head of technological development (CTO) in the startup company BTC Phoenix d. o. o., where he was responsible for the development of complex eCommerce solutions and the integration of new technologies.

His greatest passion has always been researching and developing ways of integrating advanced technologies such as AR/VR/MR, which, in his opinion, are the future of a new way of interacting and enriched user experience when contacting products and services.

Realizing that success in today’s market also requires a good amount of entrepreneurial spirit, and due to the desire to create something new in the Slovenian space, he founded his own company – the creative digital AR agency Foreach Labs, which is one of the few in Slovenia that deals with the development of AR (Augmented Reality) and advanced digital technologies.

In his career, as a lecturer and connoisseur of technological processes, Robi has hosted many events, including the first DevFest Slovenia 2018.

Among his many activities, he is also the co-founder of GDG Ljubljana, whose vision is to unite IT and tech enthusiasts in the Slovenian space. His motto is: If you don’t know how to explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough. 🙂

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Never stop learning, always take risks and take every opportunity you get.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

New technologies passion and problem solving. We develop IT solutions for different markets such as engineering, marketing, eCommerce, architecture, industry etc.

What is your magic sauce?

Touch and feel for blending new technologies with business processes. We focus on developing innovative solutions using cutting edge technologies and are constantly looking for new methods and digital solutions that put us ahead of the competition.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

We want to expand to EU market and worldwide, employ new engineers and hit the 1 MIO yearly revenue.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Project management and operations, contracting, legal and business management

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
