Tell us about yourself?

I’ve worked in the business information industry for more than 20 years, in sales and product, which has given me a lot of insight into customers and their needs. With data being such a crucial factor to business performance, it’s something that has always been intriguing for me to work with.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Working in the business information industry for more than 20 years, we (me and Pål Ljungberger, chairman of the board) saw a pent-up need for data services that were accessible, easy to use and cohesive across multiple markets. Fueled by the frustration of the lack of good solutions at the time, we launched Roaring to change the way of doing things in the industry.

What is your magic sauce?

The magic sauce is how our services enable a cohesive way of collecting, verifying and monitoring data about companies and people, on multiple markets. The enablement comes from our technical solution as well as data packaging and quality assurance on our end.

Where do you see your company going in 5 years time?

Our vision is to become the market standard in data API’s and webhooks, in other words, the way companies collect, verify and monitor their customer data. We have a Nordic offer as of now, but will keep expanding into new markets, which is very exciting.

What has been your biggest setback so far?

To be completely honest, we’ve had no major setbacks as of yet, with rapid growth since our start in 2016. Keeping up with hiring needs as we grow has been a slight challenge, but since moving offices to be closer to city central in Stockholm, it has gotten a lot easier.

What is the next big challenge for your business?

Attracting and finding top talent to join us as we continue our high-growth journey!
